When you need help finding a professional accredited or registered counsellor or psychotherapist , we will find the right qualified counsellor or psychotherapist for you – quickly.

The Oxfordshire Counselling & Psychotherapy Assessment and Referral Service was set up in 2001 and has helped many clients locate a trusted counsellor or psychotherapist in Oxford, Witney and throughout Oxfordshire.

This is all you need do initially

1.You just contact Justin or Tom (see contact page) and arrange a confidential phone or in person appointment (in Oxford or Witney)

2.You explain the kind of help you are looking for. Or you can book a 60 minute session with a trained, experienced counselling or psychotherapy practitioner to explore your issues

3. Tom or Justin will recommend a local counsellor or psychotherapist who has the appropriate training and experience to help you.


The Oxfordshire Counselling and Psychotherapy Assessment and Referral Service fee is £35 for an assessment appointment and is a very good way to be referred to the right counsellor or psychotherapist.

All of our counsellors and psychotherapists are experienced, fully insured, in supervision and either registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy or are accredited members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
